Nunca dediquei um post às tendências femeninas, mas isso acabou hoje. A maioria dos leitores deste blog são mulheres portanto eu quero honrar esse público com o que eu considero que é tendência este Outono/Inverno. Eu acho que devem apostar num estilo maria-rapaz. Bem isto parece que vai sempre dar a algo masculino. O estilo descontraido, por vezes desleixado vai estar na moda e estas 4 peças, o blazer com corte masculino, o muscle tee, os boyfriend jeans e a camisa com o print cru. Isto até dava um óptimo conjunto com a camisa aberta por cima da camisola, ficava fantástico. O melhor disto tudo é que duas destas peças estão em promoção portanto aproveitem. O que acharam das minhas propostas?

I have never posted about trends for women, ever. Today I decided to take a break from my usual posts and do just that. The trend I am focusing on is "Tomboy". Even when I am taking woman trends in consideration I end up adding some man fashion into the equasion. All the pieces on the post are from pull&bear. I really like the blazer because it's simple but as a masculine cut. It will go great with many things, it's an essencial, a good substitute for the tradicional blazer. Then we have the muscle tee and boyfriend jeans that together would be a hit. I actually think that the 4 pieces together would look great, with the blazer over the plaid masculine shirt open over the muscle tee. Have I told you how much I love layering? A lot. There is one more reason for you to buy these pieces. Two of them are on sales. Now tell me what you think of them. Do you love them?

Ter um blog ajuda a ajudar. Eu gosto muito de marcas pequenas, aqueles com peças únicas que se encontram em tardes aborrecidas enquanto se faz um pesquisa no bigcartel. Tonnshop foi uma dessas lojinhas pequenas, com um numero limitadissimo de peças mas que de alguma maneira apela a minha estética. Deiam um saltinho até ao site deles para os conhecer melhor e verem o resto das suas roupinhas. Também os entrevistei, e podem ler em baixo as respostas contudo não tive tempo para fazer a tradução. Isto com os testes já sabem como é, difícil.

 

Having a blog is a great way to help smaller bussinesses. Tonnshop is a small shop I found at bigcartel (I go there whenever I am bored and end up finding great brands.) and I love them so much I decided to feature them. I asked them a few question to wich they responded. Let's see the mini-interview!

How was it starting a brand?

It was not something I had always wanted to do, it was just sort of
a way that I could express myself in a more consistent way. Many
people told me it takes a lot of money to start one and wondered how I
went about starting it. Even before I was the founder of Tonn, I am a
photographer. As my main source of income, I starting the clothing
brand with the money I made from it. Tonn started off selling cotton
caps with woven labels, followed by a simple crew neck sweatshirt that
sold very well. Things started looking very bright for the brand, so
there was no reason to stop.

How would you define your brand?

Tonn is currently a street wear brand that is due to branch out to
make semi-formal clothing as well. Based in New York City, Tonn is
exposed to all types of styles and sources of inspiration. The line
follows minimalism and contemporary fashion, yet has a timeless
quality. The clothing and accessories is meant to be worn by all types
of people, and this is due to the main thing that inspires Tonn to be
exactly what it is, travel. I have traveled to many different
excursions and sights all over the globe and gain a perspective that
gives respect to all. The color scheme used is essential to maintain
that diversity. On top of this, there are many sentiments and stories
behind the clothing, and each garment is usually given a special name.
I define Tonn to be the embodiment of clothing that can be loved by
the simple and complex human being.

A question of shoes

 Uma das coisas que me falta comprar para este inverno é um bom par de sapatilhas. Tenho estas em mente e gosto mais das Nike Blazer, que são a nova sensação, no que toca a sapatilhas, pelos states e pelas terras da sua majestade. Contudo esta cinzenta e verde parece que foi uma edição especial, e eu queria mesmo mas não as encontro em lado nenhum. Se alguém souber de onde as posso comprar agradecia que me dissessem. Depois temos as converse que tem este novo modelo em pele, o que as torna perfeitas para o inverno, especialmente os dias de chuva. Essas já se encontram fácilmente e se não arranjar umas nike blazer que goste mais do que as converse, em principio, essas serão a minha escolha.

One thing I still have to buy this winter is sneakers. I have my eyes on this great Nke blazer that I seen on pictures, but still I haven't been able to find them for sale not even online. From what I read they were a limited edition. I just hope they aren't sold out. If anyone knows where I can buy this kicks from the picture above, please tell me. Than we have the converse hi-top leader sneakers which are really easy to find but I don't like as much as the Nike ones. Though I think that this leader edition is really great for winter and specially the rainy days. That's it, if you can help me on my search for this nike blazer please tell me in comments. I would also like to know what you think of my possible buys.

Obrigado! Obrigado a todos os seguidores que se juntaram neste cantinho que tem 2 semaninhas e 1 dia, portanto um bebé chorão ainda. Thank you! I have to thank all my followers, because 2 weeks after having creacted the blog I have already have more than 100 followers. I also have to thank everyone that comments in my posts, all your kind words melt my hearth, it is always good to hear nice things. I am still amazed how fast the blog grown. I also just felt that this landmark was the right time to get more personal and less fashionable, even with the photos. Here I go again, thank you!

Sweet coincidence

t-shirt and chinos: pull&bear

Lembram-se do post de ontem? Eu falei que queria uns chinos da pull&bear e não é que quando acordei hoje de manha estes estavam em cima da cama? São da pull&bear e são exatamente o mesmo modelo que vos mostrei ontem. Mesmo modelo, e mesma cor, não é uma coicidência demasiado grande? É sim e eu fiquei muito contente porque nunca tinha dito a ninguém que as queria- tirando aqui. Além disso veio também esta t-shirt com a bandeira que já queria à alguma tempo mas nunca encontrei nenhuma que me service bem. Esperem por amanhã para ver como me ficam estas pecinhas.

Remenber yesterdays post? I talked about some of the pieces I fancy from Pull&bear. Can you belive that today when I woke up there they where, the chinos I talked about. Isn't it a big coincidence? They are the same style and color, exactly the same as the photo. I was really happy. Also with it came this flag t-shirt which is the first one I bought that actually fits me nicely. I have bought others but ended up changing them because they didn't look right. Finally I have one of this t-shirt. Wait for tomorrow and you will see how both look on me.

Pull&Bear wishlist

Depois de sonhar com peças da zara é a vez da Pull&bear, uma loja que gosto igualmente e que compro com regularidade. A pull&bear tem um toque bem mais jovem que a zara e é muito mais amiga da carteira, ainda por cima durante os saldos. Ficam aqui umas tantas coisas que preciso, blusões, varsity (estilo baseball)- com que já sonhava o ano passado, e o camouflado que têm um ar jovial e divertido. Uma coisa que também quero são uns chinos com um bom corte e que me assentem bem, que não sejam muito largos ou compridos. Por último o um acessorio para me manter quentinho durante estes dias cada vez mais frios.

A few post back I dreamed about having some zara pieces now I am moving on to dream about the beautifull clothing at Pull&bear. Pull&bear has a younger vibe than zara does plus is much more pocket friendly, especially during sales (I have found the best bargains there). I really need new jackets specially this varsity one - which I have been dreaming with since last here. Than we have a camouflage jacket that is really cool and great for the youngsters like me. I also very much need a pair of chinos that are not too baggy or too long, just right for me, and this ones and their color is awsome. At last there is a scarf that I am sure would keep me very warm in these cold days that keep getting colder.

A zara é a loja onde gasto mais dinheiro em roupa. Tenho calças, camisas, um pouco de tudo. As peças estão sempre de acordo com as têndencias e não sou, também sou de óptima qualidade. Nesta lista temos peças intemporais que é o caso do casaco de ganga que dura uma vida e é sempre moda, e se não for fica bem à mesma. O mesmo se aplica para a sweatshirt e à sweater também. Depois temos a camisa de ganga (que eu quero muito apesar de já ter uma com uns aninhos) e as duas t-shirts que são a melhor maneira de implementar uma tendência num look. As t-shirt são baratas e se têm estampados que estão na moda é só conjugar com peças intemporais. Bem se alguém me quiser oferecer alguma coisa basta dizer, eu aceito!

Zara is my go to when it comes to buying almost anything. They have the best pieces, always on trend, and of great quality- so what do we need more? Nothing, at least I would live up of just zara clothing. In this whislist I have some clothes that are timeless and by that I obviously mean the denim jacket, the sweater and sweatshirt aswell (even though they are trends right now). Than we have those pieces that are trendy for the moment but what about tomorrow? When buy trendy pieces I always go for t-shirts. They are cheap and go with all the timeless pieces so it's easy to creact an outfit according to the trends. What's on your whislist? And how do you like mines?

School outfits

Decidi juntar algumas roupas no polyvore (já deve ser vosso conhecido?). Estes looks são direcionados para aqueles que como eu estudam e precisam de estar confortáveis, o que não significa desleixados. Fiz 2 para raparigas e 1 para os rapazes. As raparigas assim têm mais opções, os rapazes devido à minha falta de tempo for negligenciados, fica para a próxima. Agora, corram a página e desfrutem

I decide to do some looks in Polyvore. These looks are for every but are more focused on people, that like me, attend a school. We all need to be able to move and be comfortable which doesn't mean that we have to lack style. School is our second home (sometimes more like first, we spend way too much time there) let's make it ours. I have 2 suggestion for girls and 1 for boys, poor us.
